R4+ v8.1.2 Product Release Notes

The following is a list of enhancements included and issues addressed in R4+ Version 8.1.2. All fixes are cumulative (each new release contains all new fixes as well as all fixes from the previous release).

New Features in R4+ v8.1.2

The following is a list of enhancements included in R4+ v8.1.2.

NHS CCN 42 – Recording Number of AGP Appointments in NHS Claims

R4+ v8.1.2 introduces a new field called ‘AGP (no of appts)’ under the CDS Tab for any Dental Claims or ODS Tab for any Orthodontic Claims that are produced with an Acceptance date from August 1st 2020, when adding to an Orthodontic Claim please note as this is a manually entered field you will need to enter the AGP value on both the Start and End messages where needed.

This field allows the claimant to indicate the number of appointments involved in the course of treatment where Aerosol Generating Procedures were used. For example, a patient has 3 fillings and a crown and AGP is used at two of the appointments then 2 should be entered.

England, Wales & Isle of Man – Ability to access a Patient’s FP17(O) Section 2 assessment without an active Orthodontic Course of Treatment

R4+ v8.1.2 provides a change to allow users to access a patients FP17(O) Part 2 assessment without the need to have an active orthodontic course of treatment from the view menu, the patient must have previous historic orthodontic courses else the option will not be available as there will be no assessment recorded to display.

Customer-Reported Defects Fixed in R4+ v8.1.2

The following is a list of issues addressed in R4+ v8.1.2.

eOrtho – Patient Assessment Ceph Analysis fields increased to allow 3 digits

A defect which resulted in users being unable to chart higher degree ceph analysis values will now allow 3 digit with a 2 digit decimal value, this has been fixed in R4+ v8.1.2.

eOrtho – Repair Details moved from Part 5 to Part 1 in Patient Assessment

A small defect which caused confusion with users was the placement of the Repair details field being placed in Part 5 of the assessment, we have revisited this and after further analysis the field should actually be positioned in Part 1 this has been fixed in R4+ v8.1.2.

eOrtho – Spelling Correction to Soft Tissue Lips Claim option

A defect which was the displayed options for Soft Tissue Lips were wrong, “Incomplete” & “Complete” have been adjusted to “Incompetent” and “Competent” this has been fixed in R4+ v8.1.2.

eDental – Prior Approval Claims should not include CDS codes

A defect which could result in claim rejections due to CDS codes being included where unexpected. The CDS tab will no longer be shown on Prior Approval claims, this has been fixed in R4+ v8.1.2.

Appointment Planner – Spelling corrections to Top Down Menus

A defect which resulted in some of the options under the File and Options menu being slightly wrong, this has been fixed in R4+ v8.1.2.

Performance Issue when accessing Patients medicals with a High Number of Completed Medical Questionnaires

A defect which resulted in slow loading when trying to access a Patient’s Medical windows who has many previous Medical Questionnaires present, this has been improved in R4+ v8.1.2.

Query Wizard – Queries involving Appointments can return Incorrect Results

A defect which resulted in user generated queries involving appointments returning incorrect results (i.e. including cancelled appts) has been fixed in R4+ v8.1.2.

Query Wizard – Queries where a Patient has an Outstanding Balance can Error

A defect which resulted in a user generated query failing where a patient exists with an outstanding balance, this has been fixed in R4+ v8.1.2.

Clinical Chart – When Baselining defective roots with Extraction no Extraction options are provided

A defect when baselining defective roots would only provide restore options and not providing extraction options has been fixed in R4+ v8.1.2.
