The following is a list of enhancements included in R4+ Version 8.7.1. All fixes are cumulative (each new release contains all new fixes as well as all fixes from the previous release).
Based on Feedback received with the Change of the Address Lookup Service in v8.7.0, the following further adjustments have been made:
The Found Addresses Form now includes each Addresses Returned Verbose Description. This more closely mimics the result seen with the previous Service Provider GBG ePAF.
Address Line 5 (Country) now populates using a County by Default instead of Country, if no County is returned for a particular Address. It will revert to Country in those situations.
Address Line 5 for Patient and Remote Contact Edit Address is now labelled “County / Country” to more accurately show that either value can populate this field, depending on the Resolved Address Returned by the Service.
This issue was caused by an unforeseen regression in v8.5.2 due to the changes required to Support SDR Treatment Reform for NHS Scotland:
Using Repeat Last action, where the previous treatment was Tooth Specific, would result in the new Treatment Item missing any Surface and Tooth ID Information for the highlighted tooth where used. This could result in Malformed Claims in Scotland as critical Tooth Information will be missing from the Treatment Record.
The Inserted Malformed Treatment would cause the Patient Charge Calculator to generate a large Invalid Patient Treatment Value.
These have now been fixed in R4+ v8.7.1.
NOTE:
1. Any Affected Treatments already generated must be deleted and re-added to correct after upgrade; any associated invalid charge should be cancelled automatically when the malformed item is deleted.
2. NHS Scotland – If a Course of Treatment is already Closed and a Claim Submitted and returned as Rejected due to incomplete treatment records, reopen the Course, Uncomplete, Delete and Replace, close the Course again, and resubmit the Claim to correct.
The license for the post code lookup service used to complete Patient and Contact address information is due to expire in June 2025; it has now been extended to 2027 and included in R4+ v8.7.1.
