The following is a list of enhancements included in R4+ v8.1.1
R4+ v8.1.1 introduces the new revision of the NHS Patient Registration form for sites in England:
Overprint onto paper form stock. (any existing R7 form stock is still compatible)
Full Print of the R8 form effective immediately.
eSignature digital form updated to R8 effective immediately.
R4+ v8.1.1 reintroduces weekly overview in the appointment planner based on user feedback in the new UI style, this panel provides the same functionality as the old appointment book version providing at a glance the ability to distinguish free slots and booked appointments based on appointment type color and scheme shapes. Any settings previously configured for the overview panel will be automatically reapplied without any further action required.
R4+ v8.1.1 will always now show any recorded NHS or CHI number (depending on region) in the Patient Banner, users will also now be able to enter this number where the Patients current scheme is not NHS. This will now make it easier for users to manage the patient’s number without have to swap schemes temporarily to enter or view.
R4+ v8.1.1 will now track when the last Server Full backup was taken, if no full backup is detected as taken within 2 days of the upgrade then users will be notified upon login, this check sits alongside the existing DB Backup login check as both can be undertaken separately.
This change is to help maintain good data backup practices to protect against data loss in the event of any general hardware failure as it has been seen that in some instances full backups have not been configured or have not been working correctly resulting in data loss at a point when it was needed.
