These release notes describe the most important changes/fixes in version 6.0.0 of the CS R4+ software.
We have added new functionality to the R4+ Springboard feature, this includes new Target KPI goals for the Basic Widgets and new advanced widgets to help improve practice efficiency and the ability to tailor which Widgets are available at the clinic and user level as well as the ability to restrict displayed data to individuals only.
This functionality is available to all users from this release forwards, please see Introduction to Springboard for further details.
We have added support for the Denplan DEPPA patient communication and assessment tool directly within CS R4+, this allows you to produce a colour coded report to present to patients which can help aid understanding and communication regarding a patient’s oral health.
This feature is available upon request for all dentists who have signed up to the Denplan DEPPA system, please contact your Carestream sales representative for further enquires, for additional details on this new feature and how to use it please see Introduction to DEPPA.
We made changes to allow CS R4+ eSignature digital forms to be used for sites located in the Scottish region. This includes a new GP17PR Form which has been accredited for use by the Practitioner Services Division of National Services Scotland (NSS).
This feature is available upon request please contact your Carestream sales representative for further enquires, for additional details on this new feature and how to use it please see Introduction to eSignatures.
Previously the Recare widget could default onto a specific user incorrectly, by default the provider should be the ‘All’ provider option so the clinic-wide figures are displayed not an individual user who could be different to the logged in user, this has now been corrected.
If a user in R4 was created who happened to be a member of both the Dentist and Therapist roles when Springboard was accessed this would cause an error to be displayed rendering the springboard unusable, this has been addressed so the occupancy widget works correctly and the Springboard remains usable.
Previously a patient’s recall status shown on the patients communications window would not correctly align with the recorded method shown in the Springboard Recall Widget so the wording has been changed to be more generalised so not to cause confusion between the Patients communication window and the Springboard Recare Widget.
We have added the following code and fee changes which come into effect from October 1st 2016 for all accepted new courses of treatment for all Scottish NHS Sites.
