These release notes describe the most important changes/fixes in version 6.7.0 of the CS R4+ software.

NHS England & Wales - April 1st 2019 NHS fee changes

This release also includes the new regional NHS fees which take effect from April 1st, 2019 as stated below:

NHS England CCN 35 – Changes to Orthodontic Claims from May 1st, 2019

As Paper based FP17O claims are being retired in favour of EDI Transmitted claims several changes have been made to ensure Orthodontic EDI claims continue to handle everything correctly:

Addition of ‘Commissioner Approval’ option on the claim.
Addition of Photographs to the ODS section (used where an assessment is present).
Addition of Radiographs from the ODS section in the encoded claim is now mandatory if the claim is for an assessment even if the value is zero.
Addition of ‘Patient Declined’ options to Telephone and email address fields.
Addition of Post-treatment PAR Scores to the ‘End of Treatment’ message.
Adjusted wording of ‘Repair Appliance fitted by another Dentist’ to ‘Repair Appliance fitted by another Contractor’.
Date of Referral is now mandatory for all assessments
NHS Number is encoded as zeros unless a real numeric value is present.

NHS England CCN 33 – No Examination Patient Charge with Free Repair/Replacement treatment

A Patient Charge will no longer be generated when an examination is paired with Free Repair \ Replacement treatment.

Address Search License Extended for the 2019 - 2021 period

Online Address Search licensing has now been extended to July 5th, 2021 from this release.
