If the roll is running and a user attempts to access the roll, the daysheet, or Financial Functions, the user is locked out of that area and receives a message stating that the roll must finish before that area of the software can be accessed.
If the roll were interrupted—for example, by a power outage or surge—it might be necessary to unlock the roll.
You must have Unlock Financial Roll security rights to unlock the roll.
To unlock the financial roll:
Click Maintenance/Set-up and select Unlock Financial Roll. The Unlock Financial Roll message window is displayed, listing the workstation that is running the roll and asking if you have verified that the roll is not running.
Click Yes.
Click OK.
