The daysheet is divided into 14 categories, and these categories print on the Transaction Detail report when a transaction is posted to a specific category.
The Daysheet Setup function also enables you to change category names and transaction names to suit the needs of your office, if there is no activity on the current daysheet.
Before using this function, make sure that the current daysheet is printed and closed.
You cannot change the function, or “meaning,” of the transaction. For example, you cannot rename Collectible Write-Off as Master Card Payment because the transaction type continues to function as an adjustment, rather than a payment.
To access the Daysheet Setup window, click Maintenance/Set-up and select Daysheet Setup, or select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Daysheet Setup from the menu bar.

The Daysheet Setup function enables you to access sensitive financial information; therefore, few staff members should be given permission to use this feature. See Setting Up Security for more information.
