The OrthoTrac Patient Flow module is a monitoring system that gives you a continuous overview of all patients in your office on a particular day. Patients check themselves in at a computer in the waiting room or are checked in by staff at the front desk. The system then tracks patients as they proceed to the operatory and, finally, to the checkout area.
To access the Patient Flow Options window:
Click Maintenance/Set-up and select Patient
Flow Options.
OR
Select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > Patient Flow Options from the menu bar.
You can also access the Patient Flow Options window from within the Patient Flow — Staff View window by clicking Maintenance at the bottom of the window.
The Patient Flow Options window has seven tabs from which you select setup options.

By default, certain Patient Flow options, such as color selection, patient time constraints, and office time constraints are set globally. However, the visible locations remain unique to each workstation, and these options can be customized for each workstation.
