Grid Setup

This section enables you to change the order and width of columns.

To change the order in which the columns are displayed, click on a column header and drag it to the new position.
To change the width of columns, position the cursor on the line between the column headings and drag the column to the left or right.

Click the options to select or deselect the fields you want to display in the Patient Flow window.

Use the drop-down list to select the criterion for sorting the grid. Select an option button to sort the list in ascending or descending order.

This section offers additional display options.

Extend Columns To Fill Grid — Select this option to extend the column lengths to fill the Patient Flow window.
Display appointment by: — Select Appt Type to display appointment types on the Patient Flow grid.

Select Procedure to display the primary procedure code a patient is scheduled for on the Patient Flow grid. If no procedure has been attached to the appointment, the appointment type is displayed, surrounded by “ **.”

If an appointment has multiple procedures attached to it, only the first procedure is displayed in Patient Flow.

TIP:
Display Change Patient Location Information — Select this option to display the Change Patient’s Location window when you move a patient to a destination in Patient Flow.
If a patient has a check-in message, the Change Patient’s Location window is displayed during check-in, even if you have opted not to select this option.

Click to remove any changes you have made to the grid and restore the original settings.

Click to display the Font window. Select a font, font style, and size for the grid text. Click OK.

The column width does not change when you adjust the grid font. It retains the original default settings or those you have made. The header column text is not affected when you make changes to the grid.
