Cancelling an Appointment

To cancel an appointment from the patient's record:

  1. Click the Appointments tab.

  2. Select the appointment that you want to cancel.

  3. Click Cancel Appt.  The Cancellation Type window is displayed.

  4. Select Late Cancellation (Chargeable) or Cancelled (Non-chargeable) as appropriate.  The Reason for Cancellation window is displayed.

  5. Type a reason for the cancellation.

  6. Click OK.

To cancel an appointment from the Planner (method 1):

  1. Right-click the patient's appointment in the Planner.

  2. Select Cancel/Delete Appointment.  The Cancellation Type window is displayed.

  3. Select Late Cancellation (Chargeable) or Cancelled (Non-chargeable) as appropriate.  The Reason for Cancellation window is displayed.

  4. Type the reason in the field.

  5. Click OK.

To cancel an appointment from the Planner (method 2):

  1. Select the patient's appointment in the Planner.

  2. Click the Cancel/DNA/Delete/Standby icon .  The Cancellation Type window is displayed.

  3. Select Late Cancellation (Chargeable) or Cancelled (Non-chargeable) as appropriate.  The Reason for Cancellation window is displayed.

  4. Type the reason in the field.

  5. Click OK.
