To cancel an appointment from the patient's record:
Click the Appointments tab.
Select the appointment that you want to cancel.
Click Cancel Appt. The Cancellation Type window is displayed.
Select Late Cancellation (Chargeable) or Cancelled (Non-chargeable) as appropriate. The Reason for Cancellation window is displayed.
Type a reason for the cancellation.
Click OK.
To cancel an appointment from the Planner (method 1):
Right-click the patient's appointment in the Planner.
Select Cancel/Delete Appointment. The Cancellation Type window is displayed.
Select Late Cancellation (Chargeable) or Cancelled (Non-chargeable) as appropriate. The Reason for Cancellation window is displayed.
Type the reason in the field.
Click OK.
To cancel an appointment from the Planner (method 2):
Select the patient's appointment in the Planner.
Click the Cancel/DNA/Delete/Standby icon . The Cancellation Type window is displayed.
Select Late Cancellation (Chargeable) or Cancelled (Non-chargeable) as appropriate. The Reason for Cancellation window is displayed.
Type the reason in the field.
Click OK.
