Managing Patient Accounts > Using the Contact Experts
You can use the Unscheduled Treatment Plans Contact Expert to search for treatment plans that you have proposed but that are not yet scheduled, so you can contact the patient and schedule them.
The most common uses for the Unscheduled Treatment Plans Contact Expert are to:
Generate a list of treatment plans that have been proposed, but not accepted, so that you can contact the patient to confirm acceptance of the treatment plan and to schedule appointments.
Generate a list of treatment plans that have been accepted but are still unscheduled so that you can contact the patient to schedule the appointments.
Generate a list of patients with insurance who have treatment plans that have been either proposed or accepted. This feature helps fill holes in the appointment book on short notices because patients with insurance are more likely to schedule than those without insurance.
To launch the Unscheduled Treatment Plans Contact Expert:
From the Experts menu, select Contact Expert > Unscheduled Tx plans. The criteria entry window is displayed.
Enter your search criteria for the following variables:
Type of plan, date limits, treatment classes
Plan value with range of amounts
Insurance-related information
Which plans to include or exclude
Production owner
Click OK.
After the search is complete, the Unscheduled Treatment Plan Contact
Expert window is displayed. See Selecting
