Using Interproximal Reduction

The interproximal reduction (IPR) functions enable you to track IPR. You can plan IPR for future contacts, and view IPR procedures that have been performed.

Diamond icons in the aligner tracking area are displayed when IPR is part of the treatment plan for patients with aligners. To view a summary of IPR information from the aligner tracking area of the treatment card, click a diamond icon. A summary including date, doctor, contact, millimeters, and notes information is displayed.

For more information on managing aligners, see Using Aligner Tracking.
