The table below shows the headings used in the Today's Appointment area of the Tx Card tab.
Today's Appointment Headings

Description |
# |
Displays the sequence number of each entry. Comments and optional Patient Tracking data are not numbered. |
DATE |
The date that the treatment card entry was made. |
AS |
AS stands for assistant. This field is automatically populated, based on the staff member logged in, or when you select Edit Treatment Card and assign an assistant. To change assistants, click on the field. |
DR |
DR stands for doctor. This field is automatically updated when you select Edit Treatment Card. To change doctors, click on the field. |
OH |
OH stands for oral hygiene. This column enables the office to track a patient’s hygiene habits throughout treatment. A list of oral hygiene codes is provided, and you can edit these codes or create your own. Be sure your staff is consistent when entering rankings. |
PROCEDURES |
Displays the procedure codes performed during this treatment visit. Click and hold the mouse button on the codes to view their descriptions. |
TC |
TC stands for treatment coordinator. To select a treatment coordinator, click on the field. |
TREATMENT NOTES/COMMENTS |
Displays the procedure code descriptions in italics first (if selected in Charting Maintenance). Additional notes or comments are displayed after the procedures. These are entered through the current treatment window. |
MA |
MA stands for medical alert. After you are prompted to acknowledge the medical alert, this column displays how the medical alert was acknowledged (yes/no). |
Late/Early |
Displayed only if you enabled patient flow. This field displays information about whether the patient was early, late, a walk-in, no-show, or on time for an appointment. If a patient is on time, this field is blank. |

that are next to the AS, DR, and TC fields and a tooltip of their
full name is displayed.
