Using the OrthoTrac Charting Module
The Treatment Card view includes features such as the patient insight panel, aligner tracking, and the multi-phased treatment progress bar.
In OrthoTrac 14.0 and higher versions, you must set your screen resolution to 1920 x 1080 to fully display the Treatment Card window. For more information, see the system requirements.
If you have a screen resolution below the recommended settings, or you prefer the classic Tx Card view, you can change the Treatment Card to its original look and feel. For more information, see Changing the Treatment Card View.
Additionally, if you have been using customized views, you must reset them to continue using them. Customized views can be saved for all users from any workstation.
As of version 14.1, the banner at the top of the Tx Card view displays the patient's gender, date of birth, age, and the name of the treating dentist.
You can access additional information by clicking the Contact Information icon to view contact details; the Financial Information icon to view contract, insurance, and ledger information; and the Doctor Information icon to view outside doctors, referral information, and the scheduled date for the patient's next cleaning.
You can e-mail doctors by clicking the Mail icon in the Outside Doctors view.
The banner also displays information on medical alerts, breakages, and family members.
The Eye icon enables you to hide or display the Medical Alerts, Notes, and Promises sections of the banner. Click the icon to toggle between views.
At the bottom of the Tx Card view, Aligner Tracking information is displayed. For more information, see Using Aligner Tracking. Other tabs in this area include the Mechanics tab, the Events tab, and the Documents tab.
The Tx Card view includes the option to preview notes. To view a note that is longer than ten lines, click Read More. For more information, see the Notes Tab topic. To disable this feature, see Charting Options.
In 14.0 and higher versions, a preview of the most recent panoramic image is displayed on the Tx Card. For more information, see Using the Tx Card Image Preview.
To see an overview of a patient's treatment progress, displaying treatment dates, appointment compliance, and other information, open the Patient Insight Panel. For more information, see Using the Patient Insight Panel.
