Using the OrthoTrac Charting Module > Using the Treatment Card
On the Treatment Card, below patient information such as name, gender, and date of birth, is a drop-down arrow. Click this arrow to display the Patient Insight Panel, which provides a multi-phased overview of treatment progress.
Offices using the Zuelke Financial Module will only see the Full Treatment tab so that all reports work properly.
The Patient Insight Panel includes the following tabs:
The Phase I tab displays the following information:
Start date
Estimated completion date
Completion date
No Show appointments
Cancelled appointments
Changed appointments
Broken brackets
Wires
Lost appliances
Notes
The Monitoring tab displays the following information:
Start date
End date
Notes
Recall appointment
Recall schedule (3 months, 6 months, 12 months, others, and alpha)
Recall type
Comments
To add a patient's recall, click Add Recall.
The Full Treatment tab displays the following information:
Start date
Estimated completion date
Completion date
No Show appointments
Cancelled appointments
Changed appointments
Broken brackets
Wires
Lost appliances
Notes
These tabs retain their historical data.
The Phase I and Full Treatment tabs include a color-coded treatment progress bar that is displayed at the top of the section. It provides an at-a-glance reflection of historical treatment progress due to delays or patient non-compliance in relation to the start and estimated completion date.
A gray bar reflects no treatment progress. This means that no treatment dates have yet been entered for the patient.
A green bar reflects treatment currently in progress. the length of the bar indicates approximately how far along the patient's treatment is from the start date to the estimated completion date.
A solid red bar displayed below a solid green bar indicates treatment that is overdue. This means that the treatment is still in progress, but has passed the estimated completion date.
