Using the OrthoTrac Charting Module

The OrthoTrac charting module is an electronic chart containing treatment plan and treatment history information, as well as questionnaires, for each patient. When combined with CS Orthodontic Imaging software, the patient’s entire chart is available at chairside.

The charting module gives you chairside access to important patient information, including:

Electronic treatment planner
Patient’s treatment history
On-screen arch wire and elastic history
Patient questionnaires
Electronic tooth chart
Patient and treatment notes
CS Orthodontic Imaging software, if you purchased this additional product
Patient Tracking information
Financials
Significant event dates
Outside doctor and referral information

Using the charting module, you can:

Enter or edit any part of today’s treatment history.
Store and display information concerning medical alerts, progress review dates, and next appointment for each patient.
Print treatment card reports containing treatment history information for specific patients, ranges of patients, specific dates, and ranges of dates.

Treatment entries that are added to the Tx Card Tab can only be edited on the day they are entered, until 11:59 p.m. After that time, they become a permanent part of the treatment record and cannot be changed or deleted. This policy is required to maintain accurate records and comply with legal standards.
