Entering Today's Appointment

You can enter and store information about today's appointment in the Today's Appointment area of the Tx Card tab. This information is passed to the front desk during checkout.

The Today's Appointment area includes the following options:

Set as EmergencySet as Emergency

Select this option to indicate that today's appointment is an emergency. If you clicked this option in error, click Set as Normal to toggle the emergency status off.
OHOH

OH is an abbreviation for oral hygiene. Click the stars to rate the patient's oral hygiene between one and five.
Appointment HeadingsAppointment Headings

Appointment headings such as AS, DR, and TC are displayed in the Today's Appointment area. Click a heading to select specific assistants, doctors, and treatment coordinators for today's visit. For more information, see Today's Appointment Headings.
ProceduresProcedures
The Procedures area enables you to add procedures for today's appointment.

To add a procedure:
1. Click Add. The Procedures window is displayed.
2. Double-click the procedures to be performed, or select each procedure and click the arrow button to move the procedures to the Selected Procedures section. Click OK.
Today's VisitToday's Visit
Use the Today's Visit section to type comments about today's appointment. You can also add comments from the predefined list.

To add predefined comments:
1. Click Predefined. The Select Item from List window is displayed.
2. Select the desired options and click OK.
