The Medical Alerts area in the banner at the top of the Tx Card view enables you to enter information about any medical or physical condition that can affect a patient’s treatment; for example, an allergy to a medication.
The medical alerts displayed here are the same medical alerts accessed from the Patient Information window.
To edit or add medical alert information:
Click the pencil icon in the Medical Alerts area. The Change Alert window is displayed.
Select an optionoption.
To edit an existing comment, type your changes to the existing medical alert, select an acknowledgement option, and click OK.
To add another medical alert, click the bell icon. The Add Alert window is displayed. Type the medical alert, select an acknowledgement option, and click OK.
To delete a medical alert:
Select the alert you want to delete and click the pencil icon. The Change Alert window is displayed.
Click the X icon to remove the text.
Click OK.
