Working with the Appointment Scheduler
Appointments can be scheduled for both existing patients and walk-in patients who do not have an account.
When a patient is selected, the name is displayed in the upper-right corner of the Appointment Scheduler window.
If a patient has been selected when you initiate the scheduling process, the appointment is scheduled for that patient. If there is no current patient and you begin to schedule an appointment, a search window is displayed prompting you to select an existing patient or enter a new name.
After you select a patient, he or she is current until you do one of the following:
Select a different patient.
Refresh the current patient by pressing Alt + R.
Exit the Appointment Scheduler.
