To schedule an appointment for an existing patient:
On the WinOMS toolbar, click . The Appointment Scheduler window is displayed to the current date and the multi-provider Daily Detail view.
Select the date for which you want to schedule the appointment.
Double-click the appointment time, and do one of the following:
If no patient is designated as the current patient, the Patient and Walk-In Search window is displayed. Go to step 4.
If a patient has been designated as the current patient, the Appointment Data Entry window is displayed. Go to step 6.
If you want to open the Patient and Walk-In Search window from the Appointment Data Entry window, click Find Pat. Go to step 4.
Type search criteria in the search fields and click Find. The records matching your search criteria are displayed on the left side of the Patient and Walk-In Search window.
Double-click the patient for which you want to schedule an appointment. The Appointment Data Entry window is displayed.
Select the applicable appointment type and time length.
If needed, enter miscellaneous information concerning the appointment in the Note field.
Click Ok.
