Canceling Appointments

To cancel an appointment:

  1. Click the appointment. The Appointment Details window is displayed.

  1. Click Cancel. The Cancel Appointment window is displayed.

  1. Select from the Cancel Type list:

  2. Cancelled—Appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours before the appointment date.

  3. Broken—Appointment is broken less than 24 hours before the appointment date.

  4. Failed—Patient failed to show up for the appointment.

  5. Delete—Appointment is removed from the Schedule.

Note:  Cancelled, broken, and failed appointments are placed on the Pending List.

  1. In the Reason field, type the reason for the cancellation.

  2. Click OK.
