Confirming Appointments

The Confirm Appt. button enables you to view a patient’s contact numbers, enter details from the phone call during which you confirmed the appointment, and mark the appointment as confirmed.

To confirm a patient appointment:

  1. From the patient's chart, select Functions > Schedule Appointment. The Appointment summary view is displayed.

  2. Click the appointment you want to confirm. A hand pointing a finger is displayed to the left of the appointment.

  3. Click Confirm Appt. The Confirm Appointment window is displayed.

  4. After calling the patient to confirm the appointment, click Add. Type a comment in the window and press Tab.

  5. Click Confirm. The Confirm Appointment window closes, and a checkmark is displayed next to the appointment. If you need to change a confirmed appointment back to unconfirmed, click Confirm Appt again to display the Confirm Appointment window. Click Unconfirm.
