The Day End Procedure tool shows how many appointments in the past have not been completed or cancelled. If appointments are not completed or cancelled, they remain as active appointments in R4+ and can result in the recall date for the patient being incorrect.
To access the Day End Procedure utility:
From the Main Menu, click Utilities > Day End Procedure. A message shows how many appointments are neither completed nor cancelled.
Click Yes. The Day End Procedure - Incomplete Appointment window is displayed showing details of the first appointment.
Select the appropriate action on the left-hand side, such as Cancelled, Completed and so on. The details of the next appointment are displayed.
Repeat until all appointments have been processed.
Note: If you want to mark all of the appointments as complete, click Complete All.
