Configuring the Auto Dialer

The Auto Dialer is an automatic dialing feature accessible from the Contact Expert windows. You can click the Auto dial button in the patient information section of a Contact Expert window, and the patient's primary phone number is dialed for you. The Auto Dialer must be configured for each machine that uses it.

To configure the Auto Dialer:

  1. From the Windows Start menu, select All Programs > CS PracticeWorks > Configuration of CS PracticeWorks.

  2.   From the Setup menu, select Auto dialer.  The Auto Dialer Setup window is displayed.

  3. Under Modem information, select the port for the modem the Auto Dialer will use.

  4. Enter a Begin dial command and Init string if necessary.

  5. In the Dialing information section, enter the applicable information for your practice.

  6. Click OK to save the configuration.

  7. To test the configuration, click Test on the Auto Dialer Setup window.
