Using the OrthoTrac Scheduling Module > Viewing an Existing Appointment
After you have set up the Doctor/Chair cross-reference table and added days to the schedule calendar, there are no visible indicators that Dr. Cross-Reference is being used; however, when a staff member attempts to schedule a patient in an appointment slot or chair in which the patient’s doctor is not assigned, a warning message is displayed. At that point, the staff member can choose to schedule the patient in the chair with another doctor or find another appointment slot.
You must configure your schedule to use the Dr. Cross-Reference feature. See Doctor Cross-Reference for information on setting up your schedule to use this feature.
