What's New for 9.4

The following new enhancements are available in the WinOMS software, version 9.4:

 

Preferred Phone Number

An option has been added to the Patient Data Entry window to indicate the preferred contact number for a patient. The preferred phone number is displayed with an asterisk on the Patient window, and in bold on the Appointment Scheduler and Night Call reports.

Payment Wizard Options

Exit options have been added to the last window of the Payment Wizard: Open Payments, Open Checkout, and Only Exit.

Updated OMSNIC Forms

New English-version OMSNIC Consent forms have been added for cosmetic procedures. Some of the new forms include:

California Prescription Forms

The California prescription template has been updated to include checkboxes for refill options.

 

Reports

You can now use a date range instead of a specific date for the following reports:

These templates have been enhanced to include:

Implant Merge Fields

You can now add implant information to EMR Notes/Consent forms and letters using new implant-specific merge fields. When creating templates, you will be prompted for date ranges and service dates related to implants.

Attachments for Walkin Patients

An Attachments button has been added to the Walkin Setup window, enabling you to scan or attach any documents or images the new patient during the setup process.
