Setting Up Offices and Chairs

To configure chairs/columns in the scheduler:

  1. Select Settings > Office Settings. The Preferences window is displayed.

  2. In the Locations list, select All Locations, or select a specific office to set up individually.

  3. Select a base time unit and region for the location.

  4. If you want appointment failures to be recorded, select Auto Fail.

  5. Click Configure Chairs. The Operatories List is displayed.

  6. In the Display column, select the checkbox for each chair or column you want to display on the day view.

  7. In the Chairs/Operatories column, select the provider associated with each chair or operatory.

  8. Select or de-select Active for each column to change the active status of the chair.

  9. Click Order and use the arrows to re-order the chairs.

  10. Click OK.

  11. Click Add to create another column in the list. To remove a column, select it in this list and click Delete.

  12. You cannot deactivate a chair with future appointments. Deactivated chairs are saved to preserve the historical record.
