Using the Chart Menu

The Chart menu enables you to set charting preferences, view tooth details, select a new provider, view patient documents and images, and access patient education software. You can also chart decay, periapical conditions, cracks, missing teeth, diastema, all primary teeth as missing, and all permanent teeth as unerupted.

The commands available from the Chart menu are:

• Options:Select this command to set restorative chart options. See Setting Charting Options and Properties.

• Decay:Select this command to chart patient decay. See Using the Conditions Toolbar and Charting ADA Procedures.

• Periapical Condition:Select this command to chart periapical conditions. See Using the Conditions Toolbar and Charting Restorative Conditions.

• Chart Cracks:Select this command to chart cracked teeth. See Using the Conditions Toolbar and Charting Restorative Conditions.

• Chart Missing:Select this command to chart missing teeth. See Using the Conditions Toolbar and Charting Restorative Conditions.

• Chart Diastema:Select this command to chart diastema. See Using the Conditions Toolbar and Charting Restorative Conditions.

• Chart All Primary Teeth as Missing:Select this command to indicate that the patient has lost all primary teeth. See Viewing Permanent Teeth.

• Chart All Permanent Teeth as Unerupted:Select this command to indicate that none of the patient's permanent teeth have erupted. See Viewing Primary Teeth.

• Tooth Details:Select this command to view the details of the selected tooth. See Using the Procedure Codes Toolbar.

• Provider List:Select this command to select a provider to assign to the chart or procedures. See Selecting Providers.

• Patient Documents and Images:Select this command to display the Documents window. In this window, you can view, e-mail, and amend documents and images associated with a patient.

• Patient Education:Select this command to access your third party patient education software.
