To sent an SMS message to a patient:
Log in to Patient Bridge using a Practice Manager account.
On the main menu, select Patient > Patient Search.
Click Actions.
Select Send Communications.
Select the template and click Send.
To send a custom SMS message to a patient:
Log in to Patient Bridge using a Practice Manager account.
On the main menu, select Patients > Patient Search.
Click Actions.
Select Quick SMS. The patient's mobile number is automatically populated.
Select a template to send to the patient.
Enter a message in the text field. This message cannot include any data fields or form links from Virtual Waiting Room.
Click Send.
To set up SMS reminder responses:
Log in to Patient Bridge using a Practice Manager account.
From the main menu, select Communications.
Click Reminders.
Click Manage Templates.
Click Add Template.
Select SMS as the format and give the template a name.
In the Template Type field, select Interactive (2 way).
In the Reply field, type CONFIRM.
Note: Only the word Confirm enables a response to R4.
In the Content field, type the body of the reminder, using the merge fields on the right as needed.
Scroll down and click Save.
