Capturing an ECG Vitals Snapshot

You can capture an ECG snapshot from a connected vital signs monitor. ECG snapshots record a patient's sinus rhythm waveform at a selected point during a procedure. This file is saved as part of the Anesthesia Record and in Patient Files as a .jpg image.

NoteOnly the Poet Plus 8100 and nCompass 8100H monitors from Criticare Technologies, Inc. are currently supported by Sensei Cloud.

Configuring ECG Settings

Before you can capture an ECG snapshot, you must configure the settings:

  1. Select Administration > Devices & Integrations > Connected PCs.

  2. From the list of connected PCs and monitors, select a monitor and click the Pencil icon to edit.

  3. Under ECG Settings, enter the appropriate settings and click Save Device.

Capturing an ECG Snapshot

You can capture an ECG snapshot from the Surgery Vitals tab while you are recording vitals from a connected monitor during a procedure.

The snapshot is added to the Event Log at the bottom of the tab.
