Use these buttons to view related information about the patient, or
to add information to the patient’s record.
OK Click
to save any changes to the patient’s clipboard and exit the clipboard.
Cancel Click
to exit the patient’s clipboard without saving any changes. If the
button is disabled, you have already automatically saved your changes,
so canceling them is no longer an option. The Tx plan, Insurance and
Ledger buttons automatically save changes before accessing the respective
windows.
Page
2 Click to access the second page
of the patient’s clipboard.
Appt
hsty Click to
open the patient’s Appointment History window, which displays a brief
description of the patient’s previous appointments and cancellations.
In this window, click Go to appt
to locate the selected appointment in the Appointment book.
Tx
plan Click to
open the patient’s Treatment Plan Pick List. You can select a treatment
plan to view, edit, or remove from the list, or you can click Create New Plan to open the Treatment Plan window.

Actions Click
to activate any Automation Expert AutoLinks associated with this button.
To add, edit, or remove any AutoLinks, right-click on this button.

Chart Click
to access the patient’s chart. See Introducing
the PracticeWorks Charting Module for more information on using
the charting module.
Insurance Click
to access the clipboard’s Insurance page. For more information, see
Entering the Patient's Insurance Information.
History Click
to access the Patient History window where you can add contact information
and view up to four different types of information about a patient.
You can also add new contacts from this window any time your office
has contact with the patient.
Other
Info Click to
enter additional data needed by the system.
Related Click
to view what other patients have the same Lives With, Responsible
Party, or Insured Party as this patient.
Ledger Click
to open the Ledger Card of the Responsible Party associated with the
patient. See Accessing the Patient's Ledger
for more details.
A/R
Setup Click to
access the Account Information window for the Responsible Party associated
with this patient. The Account Information window provides statement
configuration options for individual patients.
If you start from a Clipboard for a person who is not a Responsible
Party, the Responsible Party’s Clipboard is opened first, and then
the Account Information window is displayed. You can customize certain
aspects of the statement setup for individual accounts in this window.
Use the Account risk field if you use a risk classification, which
enables you to assess whether an account is a financial risk. You
can enter one or two alpha, numeric, or special characters.
CareCredit Use
this button to launch the CareCredit system. For more information,
see Using the CareCredit System for Patient
Financing.
Send
E-MailUse this button to launch
an e-mail to the patient, if an e-mail address has been entered and
this functionality has been set up. For more information, see E-Mail
Enhancements.
AttachmentsClick
to open the Attachments window for this patient.
Images Use
this button to launch the Patient Image Viewer.
Eligibility Use
this button to launch online eligibility verification. This service
is available through PracticeWorks eServices. Contact a sales representative
to set this up.
PrescriptionsClick
to open the Prescription Drug History window for the patient.
Referrals Click
to open the Referrals window for this patient.
