The e-mail capabilities of PracticeWorks enable you to attach images, along with a viewer and a link, to e-mail correspondence.
You can e-mail recall reminders and send post cards to patients without e-mail addresses at the same time. See E-mailing Recall Reminders for more information.
You can click Send E-Mail on the patient's Clipboard to send an e-mail directly to the patient. You can do the same from the Referral Source window.
In the charting module, you can select images in the Image Viewer and create an e-mail message with the images attached. See E-Mail Image Functionality for more information.
The software utilizes your external MAPI e-mail client, such as the Microsoft Outlook software or Microsoft Outlook Express software. You must have an account properly configured in your e-mail client in order to send e-mails from PracticeWorks software.
