Viewing Appointments of Patients or Siblings

To verify that an existing patient has a scheduled appointment, or to see if a patient’s sibling has an appointment:

  1. On the OrthoTrac Patient Lookup window, select the patient name and click Appts. The Appointments window is displayed, showing any scheduled appointments for the patient.

The appointment information, if any, is displayed. If the patient does not have an appointment scheduled, a No Appointments message is displayed. Click Close to return to the OrthoTrac Patient Lookup window.

  1. To check if a sibling of this patient has an appointment, click Siblings. The Sibling Appointments window is displayed. If the patient has no siblings, the software displays a message stating that there are no siblings for the patient.

The appointment information for a sibling (if any) is displayed. If the sibling does not have an appointment scheduled, the Sibling Appointments window indicates No Appts Scheduled. Click Close to return to the OrthoTrac Patient Lookup window.

  1. To view a sibling’s patient chart, select the sibling name on the Sibling Appointments window and click OK. The patient chart for that sibling is displayed. See Using the Patient Chart for more information.
