Using the OrthoTrac Charting Module > Using the Treatment Card > Tooth Chart Tab
The four user-defined combo boxes at the bottom of the Tooth Chart tab have default labels of 1 Upper AW, 2 Lower AW, 3 Appliances, and 4 Cooperation and enable you to select from a list of upper and lower arch wires, appliances, and cooperation codes. You can add new data to these boxes, if the entry you want is not available.
You can change the labels on these boxes and the information contained in them using the Charting Maintenance window.
The label on the Promises field can also be changed, if necessary.
To select an upper or lower arch wire, appliance, or cooperation code for a patient:
Click <Add> in the appropriate box. The list of available entries is displayed. The Appliances window is shown in the example below.
Select the entry you want to display on the Tooth Chart tab and click OK. The entry is displayed in the field, along with the current date.
If the desired entry is not in the list, click <Free Form>. The Free Form Prompt window is displayed.
Type the new entry and click OK. A prompt is displayed, asking if you would you like to add this entry to the list for future use. Select Yes unless this is a one-time entry for this patient only.
The user-defined combo boxes display approximately 20 characters, including the date (mm/dd/yyyy). To display the date on the treatment card, limit new entries to 10 characters.
