Patient Check-In with the Fingerprint Scanner

• With the release of version 14.0 of the OrthoTrac software, the fingerprint scanner is no longer supported.

If your office uses the fingerprint scanner, you could include instructions on the welcome screen that direct a patient to scan his fingerprint to check in. If the fingerprint scan is successful, the patient does not need to use any of the patient check-in displays. See Using the Fingerprint Scanner for more information.
