After opening the treatment card, information from the patient chart is displayed in the top section.
Other statistics fields are displayed on the right side of the window.
When the Family tab is active, the names and relationships of family members associated with this patient account are displayed.
When the Statistics tab is active, information about the type, model, and contract is displayed.
When the Financials tab is active, confidential financial information, such as the balance, the current amount due, and the amount past due for both the patient and insurance, is displayed.
These tabs change color based on the state of the account's balance:
Green indicates that the balance is current.
Yellow indicates that the balance is 30 days past due.
Red indicates that the balance has been outstanding for 60 days or more.
Blue indicates that the responsible party has paid in full on an existing contract.
Gray indicates that the responsible
party has paid in full on an account that has never had a contract.
To set the default display tab,
select an option from the Default Charting Information Tab field in
the Charting Maintenance window. For more information, see Miscellaneous.
Click the Expand button to display the patient information.
Click the Collapse button to hide the patient information.
To the right of the Family/Statistics/Financials tabs, the Patient Status is displayed. See Patient Status to configure this information.
When you open a patient’s treatment card, a is displayed on the Tooth Chart, Tx Plan, or Questionnaire tabs if the tab contains patient information.
Using the Patient Insight Panel
