Performing Financial Functions
CareCredit enables you to offer your patients several no-interest and extended-payment plans in order to pay for treatment.
After your practice is signed up as a CareCredit provider, you activate the CareCredit Instant Patient Application feature, which enables you to submit patient applications directly from OrthoTrac.
To access CareCredit:
From the patient chart, select Functions > Financial Functions > CareCredit Integration.
OR
From a patient’s Financial Functions window, select Functions > CareCredit Integration. If the patient has only one responsible party or is self-responsible, the CareCredit software is opened.
If the patient has two or more responsible parties, the CareCredit Integration window is displayed.
Select the responsible party for which you want to submit a CareCredit application and click OK.
