Accessing CareCredit

CareCredit enables you to offer your patients several no-interest and extended-payment plans in order to pay for treatment.

After your practice is signed up as a CareCredit provider, you activate the CareCredit Instant Patient Application feature, which enables you to submit patient applications directly from OrthoTrac.

To access CareCredit:

  1. From the patient chart, select Functions > Financial Functions > CareCredit Integration.

OR

From a patient’s Financial Functions window, select Functions > CareCredit Integration. If the patient has only one responsible party or is self-responsible, the CareCredit software is opened.

If the patient has two or more responsible parties, the CareCredit Integration window is displayed.

  1. Select the responsible party for which you want to submit a CareCredit application and click OK.
