Using the Workspace Tabs

CS 3D Imaging contains the following workspace tabs that provide a wide range of functions for viewing and enhancing images, carrying out implant planning and generating reports.

 

Tab

Description

   MPR

Enables you to view slice planes at any angle. See “Using the MPR Tab”.

 Curve

Depending which software mode you have installed (Dentist, ENT or Imaging Center), this workspace tab allows you to trace the jaw arch or

temporal bone to display trace and cross-section. See “Using the Curve Tab”.

The Curve workspace tab can be used as part of your Prosthetic-Driven Implant Planning workflow to match 3D digital impression and CBCT scan views, and to import crowns and implants. See "Prosthetic-Driven Implant Planning Workflow".

 Bilateral

Enables you to trace custom TMJ or ear planes. See “Using the Bilateral Tab”.

Review

In the Review workspace tab, you can review Gallery images and slices generated in the Cross Section Tool before printing them using Film Composer. See “Using the Review Tab”.

Depending on the tab you have selected, the CS 3D Imaging horizontal toolbar shows the following
tools under each tab that you can click to access their settings.

Exporting to a Compact Disc

Section: "When all data has been copied to the disc, it is automatically ejected from the computer. When you give the disc to someone else, make sure that the recipient is aware that they need to launch ViewData.exe.".
