eServices > Using the ePostings Service
ePostings information is displayed in several SoftDent reports.
Reports containing ePostings information include:
Alphabetical Insurance Companies:
The last column of this report, eServices, displays the insurance company's Payer ID, as well as whether the company is ePostings Capable (Yes/No).

The total amounts for all transactions posted with the ePostings Payment by EFT ADA code are included in the Electronic Funds Transfer total.
Transactions posted with the ePostings Payment by Check ADA code are included on the deposit slip.
If some payments were marked Not Postable (for example: provider adjustments, or claims for another office), a note is displayed on the deposit slip, explaining the difference between the check amount (which will include the Not Postable amounts) and the total check payments from the daysheet itself (which only include the postable amounts).

The total amounts for all write-off transactions posted with the ePostings Write-off ADA code are included in the Insurance Income report.
The heading of the TOTAL ADJUSTMENTS column includes the ePostings Write-off code.

Register Reports (Daily, Monthy, Yearly, and Period):
An EFT collections type—not specific to ePostings—is displayed on the register reports.
The total amounts for all write-off transactions posted with the ePostings Write-off ADA code are included in the register reports (daily, monthly, yearly, and period) in the Amount due to PPO writeoffs field.
The total amounts for all write-off transactions posted with the ePostings Write-off ADA code are included in the Write Off column of the Daily Production/Collection report.
To access this report, select Reports > Accounting > Registers > Summary.
An EFT column—not ePostings specific—is displayed in the Collection Summary report.

Outstanding Insurance Claims by Company:
An ePostings Capable Companies Only option is found in the Insurance Companies section of the Outstanding Insurance Claims by Company window.
If this option is selected, only those companies with the ePostings Capable flag checked and in the Starting/Ending range are included in the report.
If the option is not selected, all companies, ePostings capable or not, that are in the Starting/Ending range are included in the report.
The option is unchecked by default.

The heading of the Insurance write-offs row includes the ePostings Write-off code.

The total of the Check column includes individual amounts for transactions posted with the ePostings Payment by Check and ePostings Payment by EFT codes.
The Code column includes the extension for the code.

The report includes transactions posted with the ePostings Payment by Check, ePostings Payment by EFT, and insurance credit card payment codes.
The Total Amount of all Payments field includes individual amounts for transactions posted with the ePostings Payment by Check, ePostings Payment by EFT, and insurance credit card payment codes.

Capitation Collections Summary:
The Capitation Payments total includes amounts of transactions posted with the ePostings Payment by Check and ePostings Payment by EFT codes.
The Total Payments amount includes amounts of transactions posted with the ePostings Payment by Check and ePostings Payment by EFT codes.
