At the top of the chart, the Patient Banner—also called the Header bar—enables you to see information about the patient, regardless of the tab that you are on.

The banner displays the following:
Patient Info—Displays the patient’s portrait or avatar, ID, name, and nickname. Click the portrait or avatar to display the Patient Portrait window. Hover over the patient’s name and click the link to display the Patient Information window.
Chart Mode and Quadrant—Displays the chart and the quadrant of the mouth you are viewing. The modes and quadrants change, depending on the chart you are viewing.
Medical Alerts—Displays medical alerts for the patient. If the patient has multiple alerts and ... is displayed, hover over the Alerts area to view all of them, or click the link to display the Conditions tab of the Medical History window.
Allergies—Displays allergies the patient has. If the patient has multiple allergies and ... is displayed, hover over the Allergies area to view all of them, or click the link to display the General tab of the Medical History window.
Meds—Displays the number of medications the patient is taking. Hover over the Medications area and click the link to display the General tab of the Medical History window.
Prescr—Displays the number of prescriptions prescribed to the patient. An * indicates a currently prescribed prescription. Hover over the Prescriptions area and click the link to display the Prescription for list window.
Provider—Displays the patient’s provider. If no provider is assigned, click the link and select a provider.
In Acct—Displays the number of patients on the same account as the selected patient, along with a link to a list of patients in the account.
