To create a recall task:
In Patient Bridge, click Communications.
Click Recalls.
Click Configure Recalls.
Click Add Recall.
In the Name field, enter a name for the new task.
Select the Automatically Send? option so the task begins running.
Select Due or Overdue? if you want recalls to be sent before (due) or after (overdue) the patient's next appointment.
Select the timeframe when the messages should be sent before or after an appointment.
Select how you would like to send the reminder: Via Email, Via SMS, or Via Letter.
It is possible to send via multiple methods. The system uses the least expensive option first; in this order, Email, SMS, Letter.
For the methods chosen, select the template you want to use.
For the methods chosen, select the group you want to send.
Click Confirm.
Patients who do not have an email address are sent an SMS; patients who do not have an email address or mobile number are sent a letter.
