If either Strong Password Protection or Automatic Logoff is enabled, you must be logged in at all times to use either the PracticeWorks software or the charting module. When launching PracticeWorks or stand-alone charting, the main part of the software will not be accessible until you log in.
For PracticeWorks, this means that the Office Expert will not run, and the appointment book for the current date will not be visible until you log in.
If the software is configured to prompt for clock-in at start-up instead of login, if Strong Password Protection or Automatic Logoff is enabled, you are prompted to log in first, and then to clock in.
