Charting the Patient > Using the Voice Activation Module
Before installing the voice activation module, you must verify that you have a PracticeWorks license file on which the voice activation module is enabled. If you purchased the voice activation module with your initial order of PracticeWorks, you have the appropriate license file. If you have been using PracticeWorks and are adding the voice activation module, you must contact our sales department to activate this feature.
If you are using a client/server environment, you must first install the voice activation module files, from your PracticeWorks CD-ROM, onto the server. Then install the voice activation module onto each workstation that will be using voice activation. If you are using a standalone PC, install both the program files and the application onto the PC.
