Using the Patient Chart > Using Patient Tracking
To display the appointment and procedure history of a single patient, as well as document history:
Click the Patient Tracking icon or select Functions > Patient Tracking from the patient chart menu. The Patient Tracking window is displayed.
The following fields are displayed at the top of the window:
Status and TypeStatus and Type
These fields display the patient status and patient type. You can make changes to these fields, if necessary, and any changes you make are reflected on the Patient Information window.
Referred By and Referred InReferred By and Referred In
These fields display the patient referral information and cannot be edited. (You can change patient referral information by clicking the Referrals button on the Patient Information window.)
Next Appt and Last VisitNext Appt and Last Visit
These fields display the patient’s next appointment and last visit, which is the last time the patient was in the office and checked out. These fields cannot be edited.
These fields display information previously entered on the Patient Information window and can be edited. To make a change, click in the field and type your changes.
Select an option from the drop-down list to display the patient status. Any changes you make to the selected status are reflected on the Patient Information window.
Select an option from the drop-down list to display the patient type. Any changes you make to the selected type are reflected on the Patient Information window.
Select a date from the calendar to display the review date. Any changes you make to the selected date are reflected on the Patient Information window.
Select a date from the calendar to display the start date. Any changes you make to the selected date are reflected on the Patient Information window.
Select a date from the calendar to display the estimated completion date. Any changes you make to the selected date are reflected on the Patient Information window.
Select a date from the calendar to display the actual completion date. Any changes you make to the selected date are reflected on the Patient Information window.
To refresh the tracking history, click Save Changes.
