The View Errors button enables the timeclock administrator to view and correct timeclock errors made by staff members.
To view timeclock errors, click View Errors in the Timeclock window. The Timeclock Errors window is displayed.
The Timeclock Errors window is also displayed when the timeclock administrator logs in on the Staff Login window, if you selected this option in the Timeclock Maintenance window.
The window displays only errors made within the last two weeks. Click the Starting on: date link and select a date to see all errors made from the selected date up to the current date.
To correct staff member timeclock errors:
Select the name of the staff member with the timeclock error and click Change, or double-click the staff member’s name. The Time Card window is displayed for the selected staff member, and the time card is in adjustment mode.
The date containing the error is displayed in red. Double-click the time or status code to be adjusted and type your correction. Click OK to save the changes, or select Cancel to close the window without saving.
You must enter the status code in uppercase letters.
The Timeclock Errors window is displayed again. Continue correcting the time card errors of other staff members until there are no remaining errors on the list.
