Using the Reports Button

The Reports button enables the timeclock administrator to produce a report of payroll hours for the entire staff or for an individual staff member.

To run a timeclock report:

  1. Click Reports in the Timeclock window. The Timeclock Reports window is displayed.

  2. In the Report Options section, select an option:

  3. Select By Staff or By Date.

  4. Click the Page Break on new Staff/Page Break on new Date option to print the report on separate pages after each staff member or after each new date.

  5. Select Totals Only or Detail.

  1. In the Date Range section, select the time period you want the report to cover by clicking the Calendar icons after the From and To fields and selecting dates from the Calendar window. If you selected By Staff, the Number of working days this period: field is populated by default, based on the From and To dates selected.

  2. In the Select Staff field, use the drop-down list to run the report for a specific staff member or all staff members.

  3. Click OK. The Timeclock Report window is displayed.

  4. In the Print Options section, select a print option, and type the number of copies you want to print in the Number of Copies to Print field.

  5. In the Selected Printer field, select a printer from the drop-down list, if necessary. Double-click on the letter icon to change the mode — portrait or landscape — in which the report is printed.

  6. Click OK to print the list, or click Cancel to close the window without printing.
