Transmitting Statements with ExpressBill

After configuring XComm, you must send a test transmission to ExpressBill.

To send a test transmission:

  1. Select Functions > Maintenance/Set-up > eServices Setup from the menu bar. The eServices Setup window is displayed.

  2. Click Statement Options. The Statement Options window is displayed.

  3. Click the ExpressBill tab. The Statement Options — ExpressBill window is displayed.

  4. Verify that the selected options correspond with the format you selected on your enrollment form. Click Test to send a few sample statements.

  5. Click OK to return to the eServices Setup window.

  6. Click Batch Test. The Statement Generation window is displayed.

  7. Generate the patient statements. When the software finishes generating the statements, the View Generated Statements window is displayed.

  8. Click ExpressBill to transmit the statements. When the transmission is completed, a message is displayed, listing the number of statements transmitted.

  9. After transmitting statements, click Print Statements. A dialog box is displayed.

  10. Select Print List of Generated Statements and click OK.

  11. Click Print Statements again, select Print Post-Generation Summary, and click OK.

  12. Save these lists until you receive fax confirmation from ExpressBill for comparison.

  1. Approve/authorize ExpressBill to mail statements.
