Using the OrthoTrac Charting Module > Using the Treatment Card > Tx Plan Tab
After scheduling the initial treatment plan appointment, the next step in the plan is displayed in the Treatment Plan Information window when you are ready to schedule the next appointment. There is no need to enter procedure codes for the next appointment; just search for the next available appointment time.
Displayed with the next step is the targeted date for that appointment and +/- 7 days. This means that as long as you schedule the next appointment within seven days of the target date, either before or after the date, the patient’s treatment is considered to be on track.
Appointment steps that are off target display in red in the Treatment Plan window and on the time line.
When you search for a treatment plan appointment, the software shows you all available dates for that appointment type, starting on or after the target date. If necessary, you can schedule an appointment for a date that is earlier than the target date by scheduling directly from the schedule book. In that case, the message Off Target is displayed in the Schedule window. The Off Target message is also displayed if you schedule an appointment that is more than seven days after the target date.
