Adding a Treatment Plan

To add a treatment plan template to a patient’s treatment card:

  1. In the Treatment Card window, select the Tx Plan tab. The Tx Plan window is displayed.

  2. Click Add New Tx Plan. The Add Treatment Plan window is displayed.

  3. Click an option button to select a treatment plan template or to create a treatment plan. In this example, Select a Treatment Plan Template is selected.

  4. Click OK. The Copy Treatment Plan window is displayed.

  5. See Setting Up Treatment Plan for information about creating a treatment plan template.

  1. Select a treatment plan template in the list and click Copy. The Treatment Plan Title window is displayed.

  2. Type a new name for this treatment plan template, if necessary, and click OK. The Charting — Tx Plan window is redisplayed with the treatment plan template information.

  3. Click Activate to activate the treatment plan for this patient. Once the plan is active, the button changes to Deactivate.

  4. Click the Tx Card tab. Enter the procedures or comments about the procedures performed today.

  5. The information about the first treatment plan appointment is displayed in the lower-right corner of the window in the Next Tx Plan Appointment section.

  1. Click OK to close the treatment card.
