Using the Salutation Button

Use the Salutation button to enter a customized salutation (for a friend of the doctor, a family member, and so on). The word processing module uses the custom salutation in place of the salutation setting in the word processing letter.

To add a custom salutation:

1. From the patient chart, click the Patient Information icon to display the Patient Information window.

2. Click Salutation. The Custom Salutations window is displayed.

3. Type a Formal and Informal salutation in the fields.

4. Click OK to save your changes.
